Central Park Cherry Blossom Portraits | Virginia Portrait Photographer
Yesterday we had some crazy thunderstorms and even some tornados here in Virginia. I was without power for a few hours and my car was under attack by some crazy hail. But all is well now and I’m looking forward to more of this spring weather. Living in the Northern Virginia/ D.C. area, cherry blossoms are a huge deal. I remember when I lived here 4 years ago; I got up at 4am to drive to D.C. to be at a sunrise cherry blossom photography class. If you know me, you know mornings aren’t my jam…like at all. But Photography is. And I will do pretty much anything for photography even if that means waking up super early.
This year, I haven’t made it up DC to see the blossoms around the tidal basin, so I decided to look back on the last shoot I did with cherry blossoms. And to my surprise, it was two years ago! Yikes. I’m long overdue, but I thought it would be fun to share this #flashbackfriday Central Park Cherry blossom shoot that I did with some of my favorite photographer friends in NYC. Enjoy and Happy Friday!
